About the SRW Installer Education Program:
The WESTERN Nursery and Landscape Association and the NCMA are offering a Segmental Retaining Wall Installer Education Program. By successfully completing the classroom seminar and passing a written examination, you can be recognized as a NCMA Level I SRW Installer.
The SRW Installer Education Program is a seminar designed to reinforce national standardized installation and site practices within the SRW installer community. This course is structured for all employees involved in SRW installation and provides fundamental instruction on minimum installation guidelines, material and system component properties, soils and compaction, site practices and equipment selection.
This program is designed to teach you the history and advantages of segmental retaining walls, the role of SRW units and soil reinforcement, minimum industry standards for SRW installation, effective equipment and tool selection, basic personnel management and basic soil identification and selection, and the importance and principles of soil compaction.
