CEU Credit for Certified Pesticide Applicators
Kansas and Oklahoma are allowing their certified pesticide applicators to earn one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) per hour-long session by attending the Tuesday WESTERN University session's “Emerald Ash Borer and Wood-Boring Insects”and/or “Work Smarter, Not Harder, For Sustainable Tree Disease Management.”
These have been approved by the Kansas Department of Agriculture for recertification credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in “2 – Forest Pest Control” and “3A – Ornamental Pest Control.” An attendance
form will be provided for applicators to sign in, including providing their Certification Number.
Applicators from Oklahoma can attend either of the two qualifying sessions or both for a CEU per hour-long session, and receive credit by filling out their information on the CEU Attendance Form provided by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food & Forestry.
